This is the penultimate movement of “The Carnival of the Animals”. Originally written for cello and two pianos, it is presented here as a solo piano version.

Description

Features:

A steady eighth-note (quaver) accompaniment in the left hand while the right hand plays the melody.
Fairly large arpeggiated intervals in the left hand, so the arrangement may not be suitable for small children.

Prerequisites:

Experience using the pedal; pedal markings are not provided.
