Arabian Riff – sheet music for piano as our own arrangement. This is a famous melody also known as The Streets of Cairo. It was published in various forms in the 19th century, but the original roots of the melody remain unknown.
The melody has been used as a basis for numerous other songs and works from jazz to classical music. Louis Armstrong used it but so did the American modernist composer Charles Ives in the Scherzo of his string quartet! Almost everyone knows this melody, though not necessarily the title of it.
The piano arrangement is simple and easy. Enjoy!
