La Marseillaise (the National Anthem of France)

$5,59

Dating back to 1792, La Marseillaise is the first example of the “European march” anthemic style.

Our piano arrangement respects this style – occasionally you can almost hear the low brass in the left hand!

Description

Features:

  • Three-voice polyphony

Prerequisites:

  • There is simple polyphony in the arrangement for optimal sound – so it is necessary to know (or want to learn) how to play in voices – notes of different lengths within a hand.
  • There are quite a lot of accidentals: sharps, flats and naturals in the score, so you should know how to interpret them. Remember, the accidentals are valid until the next barline!
