The traditional Japanese song Sakura Sakura dates back to the Edo period. The song depicts Spring, the time of cherry blossoms (Sakura). The traditional instrument used for playing this song is the Japanese stringed instrument koto.
Our arrangement uses the traditional koto accompaniment as its inspiration. The accompaniment to the simple melody is quite easy to learn.
